The Festival Dusk And The Bird Of Fortune In The Mythology

https://www.sreelalintheaterclassicalsof1979.wordpress.com/
By the end of the day, just before the night falls, came on the wall of the dusk, the Greater Couccal, the Bird Of Fortune, as it is denoted in the ancient scriptures of the south of India. The light was low but I tried to make some shots of it anyhow with my Canon500D in one of the farewell days of the last festival seasons here in Kerala, the southernmost part of India.
During the festivals in the temple, there was the mythological story of  Lord Krishna who had blessed his childhood friend with immense wealth and fortune by the time of a desperate visit of the friend on a period of hardships in his life!....According to the legends,it is told that the humble friend of the Lord has had the sound of this bird as the call of fortune when he had had the start of the journey to the place of the Lord...!!
